Description
Serene Meadows Adult Family Homes are residential homes licensed by Washington State Department of Social and Health Services to provide personal care for residents. Serene Meadows was founded by Barbara Badgley in 1996 in Davenport, Washington and has been family ran ever since. Serene Meadows currently has two locations in operation that are located directly adjacent from each other.
Services Offered
- Self-care (bathing, dressing, grooming, toilets, oral care, incontinence management).
- Socializing around food (delicious, healthy breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, along with snacks).
- Mobility and fall risk assistance (one person transfers, medical lifts available for transfers, escorts and other walking assistance to attend all household meals and events safely).
- Planned activities, outings, and life enrichment based on our residents’ life-long interests.
- Medication ordering, management, and administration by a Serene Meadows Registered Nurse and certified staff.
- Housekeeping, laundry, gardening, and other home maintenance.
- Small household lifestyle that is especially attractive to seniors with dementia.
- Certified staff trained in Dementia, Alzheimer’s and mental health.
- Overnight, awake staff for attentive and gracious care.
- Specialty activity programming and a household design that caters to residents with dementiaRespite care (as space allows).
- Intermittent nursing services, such as tube feeding, diabetic care, ongoing wound care for stable, non-healing wounds, and catheter care.
- End-of-life program support so residents do not have to move
